Stretch your faith and grow in discipleship as an adult!  Join with others seeking to do the same.  Make a lasting connection with others in the church.  Centenary has many vital Sunday school classes for adults!  Below you will find information on our regular classes.  We periodically offer short-term classes in addition to those that regularly meet!  Join us this Sunday! 

FYI:  The classroom hallway is located straight ahead on the right hand side as you enter through the front doors, the office hallway is to your left after entering the building, and upstairs classrooms are best reached by the elevator in the classroom hallway.

8:30 am

Jonathan Class
The Jonathan class is a discussion-based class focusing on Biblical truths. 
Leader:  John Buchanan  Size:  8-10 people
Room:  131 (classroom hallway)

9:45 am

The Agape Class
A discussion-based class that rotates leaders, the Agape class is a committed group of people aged 55 and older.  Book studies have included such authors as Max Lucado and Tony Compola.
Leader:  Judith Dickey
Size:  8-10 people
Room:  102 (office hallway)

Lamplighters
The Lamplighters have discussed topics ranging from miracles and the Fruit of the Spirit to leaders of the Old and New Testaments.  Most of the class members have young children, but the class has diversity in age, and includes some younger people as well as those with more life experience. 
Leader:  Bob and Patti Rowland
Size:  10-15 people
Room:  202 (upstairs)

New Beginnings
The New Beginnings class is a larger class benefitting from the experiences of many voices.  Studies have included book studies such as The Purpose Driven Life and Putting on Your God Gear.  A dynamic group, the New Beginnings class also hosts social gatherings 3-4 times a year.  Age of attendees is about 35 to 55 and a bit older.
Leader:  Mike Kondik
Size:  15-25 people
Room:  117B (This is the choir room - please go to the end of the classroom hallway, turn left past the coke machines and walk through the kitchen serving line to the choir room door.) 

Pathfinders
Made up of mostly parents of school-aged children (elementary to high school), the Pathfinders study a variety of topics, focusing primarily on books of the bible, as well as topical books and video series. 
Leader:  Kevin Maples
Size:  10-15 people
Room: 131 (classroom hallway)

Pruitt Class
A large discussion-based class, the Pruit class focuses primarily on books of the bible.  This class also enjoys monthly birthday celebrations. 
Leader:  rotating leaders, with Marge Sobol acting as president of the class.
Size:  40-50 people, ages 50 and older
Room:  125 - Chapel (end of the classroom hallway)

Sonshine Class
The Sonshine class examines various subjects such as Advent, World Religions, and issues surrounding life and death. 
Leader:  Shirley Kindel
Size:  20-25 people, ages 45 and older
Room:  209 (upstairs)

Young Adults
Made up of recently married couples and singles, this is a new class addressing issues specific to those just entering adulthood and finding their role in society, the church, and their relationships.
Leaders:  Mike and Melynda Milburn
Size:  5-10 people
Room: Youth Kitchen (upstairs)

11:00 am

11:00 Small Group
This small group follows guided studies which have included The Holy Spirit, Christian Character, and Experiencing God. 
Leader:  Garnett Slone
Size:  10-12 people
